Here is a small suggestion-- When looping through the objects. Start at the end and iterate to the beginning instead.
Example:
for i = #objects, 1, -1 do
end

This allows you to remove objects on collision without throwing off the indices.

hey rob on the circle detection if you get rid of the sqrt it will speed up the detection. to do this use
if dx*dx + dy*dy < objectSize*objectSize then

Hi Rob,

Great blog articles, I'm just coding my second app using Corona and do all of the SEO for our own sites.

With regard to inoming links don't overlook the value of the Anchor Text of the links. For example "Click here for Raleigh Wedding Photographer" is better than www.robmiracle.com.

The website www.ranks.nl is a great free resource for SEO. (I have no connection with the site).

Hi,

Very good post! Thank you for the beginner`s effort as I said you in the Corona Forum. ;)

It helps a lot understanding some "WHYs" of the code running.

Regards,
Rodrigo.

It was accepted, but I never could get OF to talk to GC, so I removed GC support in later versions.

Not that I'm aware of. Many of us would like Ansca to give us just Game Center support, but I suspect they have a lot of higher priority items, including all the iOS 5.0 goodies to implement and since we get Game Center for free with OF, I expect its lower on the list.
